OUR PROGRAMS
“We offer a wide ranged variety of programs related to Islam and general education for the adult and youth age groups. We provide recurring programs (on site and virtually) such as the following:
- Islamic Classes for the Deaf Adults by Imam Shaker
- Islamic Classes for the Deaf/CODA Youth
- Prophet Stories
- Arabic Classes for brothers and sister
- Sisters and Brothers Halaqa
- ASL Classes (for the hearing populations)
Our programs are often recorded and shared to the public. We also provide charitable services such as iftars (drive thru during the pandemic) and zakat for the Deaf in need. We provide Eid celebrations for deaf community as well.
We provide special programs such as workshops with focus on disability rights, law, language deprivation, and more. We make collaborations with other deaf and hearing organizations to provide these kind of workshops. Our special programs also include Deaf Muslim Expo, where we host a convention every few years for the deaf community.
