Director of Communication Mobin Tawakkul

Mobin Tawakkul created the Disability Needs & Awareness Working Group (DNA-WG) for a non-profit organization called American Muslim Health Professionals (AMHP).  His goals for DNA-WG is to empower the Muslim community to assist and serve the needs of individuals with disabilities within the ethical framework grounded in Islamic tradition.  He is also the Communications Director for Global Deaf Muslim.  He is profoundly deaf who relies on the cochlear implant device.  He has a background in chemical engineering with masters’ focus on pharmaceutical operations obtained from University of Michigan.  He makes a living focusing on drug product quality issues for the Food & Drug Administration in the Metro Washington DC Area.
